This beautiful country estate is within easy reach of Cape Town. situated in the Paarl Valley on the Suid Agter Paarl road. Belair’s neighbours include several well-known wine estates: Fairview, Diamant, Spice Route, Landskroon and Ruitersvlei. Paarl itself, about 10 minutes’ drive away, is a real Boland town. it has one of the prettiest oak-lined main streets, flanked by some superb examples of early cape architecture.

Belair is home to one of the most beautiful garden venues in the western cape. the pavilion is a contemporary country garden venue with floor to ceiling wrap around glass doors. the venue is virtually alive, covered in evergreen star jasmine that is in bloom late October / November.

With breathtaking views of the Boland mountains, Belair is surrounded by magnificent scenery, where you can create a function that will long be remembered. a dramatic water feature creates an aisle linking the pavilion to a quaint ivy-covered “greenhouse” for intimate ceremonies of up to 120 guests. the new outdoor “wild pear tree” ceremony area features a dramatic black and white tiled aisle, with rose covered arches. the wild pear trees create wonderful shade in summer months and is ideal for larger ceremonies of up to 300 pax.

Pre-reception drinks can be enjoyed on the front terraced garden surrounded by wisteria covered arches that makes for the most incredible sight mid- september when the wisteria is in full bloom. alternatively, enjoy the fun fairy light lit covered patio area that features a wonderful fire pit, an outdoor dance floor (for up to 120 guests).

The charming country house offers accommodation for up to 16 guests in 8 individually decorated suites. A full-scale labyrinth and exquisite reflection pool are only 2 of the many highlights that makes belair exceptionally different. The estate is not open to the public, ensuring privacy and exclusivity.

Belair is not only the most beautiful venue, but the staff and team are extremely organised, friendly and helpful and go above and beyond to ensure your wedding dreams come true. We got married at Belair 1.5 weeks ago and loved every moment of the experience and working with Jason and Wil throughout our journey. I highly recommend Belair as a wedding venue!!! Diamant Estate is set against the dramatic backdrop of Paarl Mountain a mere 45 minutes from Cape Town. Gorgeous views extend from the front of the property; include an expanse of manicured lawns, vineyards and majestic Oak trees. You might even catch a glimmer of Table Mountain in the distance.

The Old Chapel is a small wine cellar dating from the 1700’s which has been tastefully transformed into an intimate chapel for wedding ceremonies. The Old Chapel can also be transformed into a cosy, more intimate space to hold your reception and dance party for boutique weddings.

The Lawn consists of breathtaking views, envision the sun setting over Table Mountain in the distance, old oak trees and vineyards that wrap around the area and mountains as far as the eye can see. This is an exquisite area for outside ceremonies, sundowners or even an outdoor reception. The Barn can be used in conjunction with the old chapel, as stylish glass doors separate the two spaces. The extra-large fireplace or air conditioned facility makes this the ideal spot for a smaller event, both winter and summer.

The Main Venue is a beautifully renovated historic wine cellar that is the flagship of our function spaces. While the original Cape Dutch style was retained, the designers and architects artfully married tradition with contemporary fittings and finishes. Two large courtyards with cosy fireplaces and stylish lounge pockets, as well as a beautiful wooden and granite Bar facility complement the Main Venue. We offer a variety of packages and options at different venues on the estate. From a small, intimate wedding in The Old Chapel or The Barn, an outside ceremony and reception on the lawn, to a large celebration in the Main Venue. There is a space for each memorable moment of your special day.

What a beautiful wedding venue. I found the staff to be well trained and very professional at all times. The wedding coordinator was on top of everything at all times and was available to assist wherever necessary. – Andre
