Estee and her team provided our wedding with beautiful flower arrangements. Although we had 37 degrees on that day in Franschhoek, Estee made sure we would have beautiful flowers for the ceremony. We had a spectacular flower arch leading into the chapel and wonderful table flower arrangements and bouquets. She is very reliable and customer orientated. I would recommend her to anyone. – Patricia Ott

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for all your efforts on our wedding day!! As I said to Chantell, I had an image in my head of how I hoped everything would look – and you have created EXACTLY it!! Honestly, I was blown away with the flowers and decoration!!! – Emma & Louis
I have been working as a florist in the wedding industry since 2008. I am based in Tulbagh, but I work all over the Western Cape and also enjoy traveling for destination weddings. If I could describe my style, it would be: unstructured, whimsical, organic and romantic and sometimes even a bit over the top. I love to push boundaries with brave brides, but also enjoy conforming to the traditional – with a fresh twist!
I am not all about flowers, I also believe in creating lasting relationships with all my clients and suppliers and always try to handle both my clients and suppliers with the utmost respect and kindness. My clients are super important to me and I believe that each couple is unique, as are their needs. I always endeavour to tailor my services and 12 years of floral experience around my clients’ style and their budget, because no two weddings are alike.
Planning your floral décor should be the most exciting part of your wedding day and I want the whole experience to be as stress-free and enjoyable for you as possible. I only create once-off designs. I do not replicate other designers’ work, or any of my previous weddings. I will take elements of your inspiration images, combined with my own ideas, to create something truly unique to compliment your personality and the vision you have for your big day, whilst respecting nature and the seasonality of flowers. I love to see flowers used in the way that they would appear in nature – wild and unrestricted. Or simply showcasing the beauty of a single flower all on its own. I try to offer a service that is second-to-none by remembering to always under-promise and over-deliver. My goal is to not only meet my client’s expectations, but to always exceed them!
Anli came highly recommended by the event manager at my wedding venue, Montpellier de Tulbagh, and after taking a brief look at her portfolio of work, I was sold. However, Anli exceeded ALL of my expectations. Not only did she work with my ever-changing budget and deal with my constant indecisiveness (she drafted 6 different quotes for me!), Anli was professional and polite and patient with me throughout the planning process… I know I wasn’t the easiest bride, but Anli never once made me feel like she was irritated by my emails and questions, and was always willing to work with my vision. Anli is a true artist. Her work will blow your mind. I had a clear idea of what I had wanted in my mind, but she took my vision to entirely new level. Every single person at my wedding commented on how beautiful my flowers were. Anli made my wedding spectacular. – Kelly Stone

Theresa is a true professional in everything that she does, but more than that – she is just genuinely an extraordinary talent with a contagious passion for her craft. We were fortunate enough to have Theresa as our wedding florist and have her manage all our decor & stationery to the last detail. I cannot recommend her enough or imagine planning a wedding without her by my side. If you are lucky enough to work with her, sit back and enjoy the art of design.

One of the most important aspects of planning your wedding is creating your wedding look and feel. It is almost certain that no bride in the stratosphere is reading this because they don’t have any wedding style ideas in mind, but instead just have way too many ideas and need to channel them into one cohesive stylish concept.
The internet is truly your best friend when establishing a style for the floral design at your wedding. Let your imagination grow wild, with beautiful arches, hanging installations or natural materials and grasses combined with flowers. Look at trends and draw inspiration but ultimately decide on your own unique style, suited only to you and your partner.
It’s best to meet your potential florist prepared with what you have in mind for your colours and style, using pictures and mood boards saves you from needing to learn all the floral jargon. They can offer good advice on style choices and guide you through what you can achieve with your budget.
To help you with creating your wedding look and feel, use our two step process:
• Wedding Style – Think of the Style of your wedding as the frame for the aesthetic of your wedding. So put the colours, fixtures and flowers aside and think of the broader picture or your frame for now.
• Wedding Aesthetic – Dive into all the fun and pretty things. With that good framework you have now created you can let your creativity loose and put your personal stamp on your unique wedding.
